Why is the 20.5' span x 4' rise box culvert spec'd as cast in place only?
We have precast a number o f20.5' PCBC's for IL and MO counties.
We may be able to precast the flared ends, too.
Precast options are not permitted due to the possibility of scour of the subgrade during high flow events from the adjacent river floodplain. (09/08/2023)
