  • When rebar is encountered while drilling these foundations for the saw cuts will we need to drill additional holes or remove the rebar? And if additional holes are necessary, will it be paid for under article 109.04?
    It is up to the contractor’s means and methods to drill the hole for the wiring. Based on your example, the contractor should not remove the rebar but rather fill the initial hole and drill another, but no additional payment would be provided. (09/13/2023)

  • Sheet 80 refers to a 16' traffic signal post. There is no pay item for this post.
    An addendum will be issued to address this. (09/12/2023)
