A voluntary pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 01:30 PM in the Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois Board Room at 10400 Terminal Drive, Marion, IL 62595. Location Notes - Airport Board Room is on the 2nd Floor of the Terminal Building. Meeting Description - For engineering information, contact Matt Wiggins with Horner & Shifrin at mkwiggins@hornershifrin.com.
The time limit to award this item has been changed from 45 days to 90 days after the scheduled letting.

  • Articles 100-13/100-14 on page 49 of the Special Provisions mentions a basis and measurement and payment for the Contractor Quality Control Program. Should there be a pay item included in the Contract for this?

  • Is the voluntary Pre-Bid meeting to be held at 10 AM per the Letting Bid Summary Page or at 1:30 PM as per the Contract Specifications and Proposal on page 1?

  • Who is the OEM for the replacement guidance sign panels?
    The taxiway guidance signs to be relocated are ADB SAFEGATE signs. Please note that all new sign panels will be provided by the owner and should not be included in the bid. The bidder will be responsible for installing the owner provided sign panels as part of the relocation bid. (04/08/2024)
