  • The quantity for fog seal seems odd. At 326,645 pounds with a minimum application of .08 lbs/sf of residual oil, the area to be covered would be 4,083,063 sf, or 453,674 sy?????
    An addendum will be posted that will address this question. Please continue to monitor the website for an update. (11/02/2023)

  • The specifications allow 6 weekends for interstate weekend closures, 3 each for eastbound and westbound. The specifications state that IRI and PFP testing apply. In addition, there is a completion date of May 30, 2024. March is typically too cold for HMA paving, especially SMA, and April and May have the most historical rainfalls. To allow for a greater selection of weekends, would it be permissible to perform pavement patching during nighttime hours prior to the weekend closures?
    Due to the location of this project, all work must be completed during the weekend closures. No additional lane closures will be allowed. (11/02/2023)
