  • Can you clarify if the 6" Perforated Underdrain can be with just a sock or does the trench need to be lined with geofabric?
    Underdrain trench shall be lined with filter fabric with a minimum of 12” overlap at the top. The underdrain shall be New 6” Perforated Corrugated Polyethylene (PE) Underdrain Pipe, and, in accordance with Section 705-2.12 of the Standard Specifications: All perforated underdrains shall be perforated corrugated polyethylene (PE) pipe of the diameter shown in the plans, with sock conforming to the requirements of Heavy Duty AASHTO M 252. Addendums have been issued to clarify. (11/09/2023)
