  • Are we allowed to do a site visit to examine the existing conditions for the asbestos abatement?
    The project should be bid according to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Highway Standards, and the plans and specifications published online. There is no plan to open the building demo sites for contractors. (10/29/2024)

  • Building site 2 has a water well that is below ground in a concrete structure, will the concrete structure be removed and the water well be capped?
    The water well is located outside the building #2, temporary easement (TE) limits. The scope will not include any removal outside TE limits. (10/25/2024)

  • Can the addresses be be published so the locations can be looked at for approximate sizes of the houses to be torn down?
    The Department is currently processing the Contract. All the documents are required to be published prior to October 25th. Contractors should monitor the website for the actual publication date. (10/22/2024)
