  • Can you please clarify what a "non-system interchange" is?
    Non-system interchanges would be junctions that connect 1 interstate with an arterial (or other type) of route. System interchanges are junctions that connect 2 interstates. (07/26/2023)

  • Please confirm that the intent is to utilize the MTD on all the SMA (Shoulders included) and none on the N70 Surface.
    The Material Transfer Device shall be used for transferring Stone Matrix Asphalt only. (07/25/2023)

  • Page 48 of spec calls for A FLEX-DET-M to be provided in the surveillance/ITS Cabinets. How many FLEX-DET-M Devices will be required to provide? Page 48 of spec also calls for latest SNAPS Software version. Will IDOT provide a new server or shall one be provided as part of the new SNAPS software?
    FLEX-DET-M Devices will not be required under this contract. A new server should be provided as part of the new SNAPS software. (07/25/2023)

Plan sheet 100 of 125 - Should 2 SPP Radios be installed at STA 537+65? Plan sheet 101 of 125 - Should 2 SPP Radios be installed at STA 551+13?
    A Repeater will be mounted on the existing light pole at STA 480+50 (Not a SPP Radio). 2 SPP Radios will be installed at STA 480+70 (Cabinet N39). 2 SPP Radios will be installed at STA 537+65. 2 SPP Radios will be installed at STA 551+13. (07/25/2023)

    2 SPP Radios will be installed at STA 360+85. A solar repeater be will be installed on Ramp "V" at approx 15+50. This is a new item, not a pay item on the plans.   • Can you please provide plan sheets or stations that specify where the tree removal items and mowing are to take place?
    The pay item "Mowing" will account for maintenance mowing during construction, weed control, & interseeding. Pay item "Mowing (Special)" will be for mowing Phragmites and slopes. The pay item "Tree Removal, Acres (Special)" is called out on multiple plan sheets. All other tree removal shall be accounted for under pay items Tree Removal (Under 6 Units Diameter), Tree Removal (6 To 15 Units Diameter), or Tree Removal (Over 15 Units Diameter). (07/25/2023)
