  • The standard post height for the SMX rail is 49". However, on sheet 12 it is shown as 49-1/2" - is that the correct post height?
    Yes 49 1/2" is correct. The adjustment to the height is in regard to the variable thickness of the HMA. The SMX base sheet (R-41HMAWS) limits the HMA thickness range from 1 1/4" to 3 1/8" thick and the additional height of the post in accounting for this while still maintaining a 2'-8" height above the finished surface.
