  • Bridge Fence Railing (Sidewalk) does not have a layout drawing. Plan sheet 8 provides the only comment “Posts shall be placed between truss member’s sidewalk openings”. This description is too vague to work with. It is customary to have IDOT design team detail exactly what is needed so all bidders understand the scope and bid the same detail. Please issue addendum illustrating railing layout.
    The Department has issued an addendum. Please refer to the website for the addendum. (06/08/2023)
