  • On sheet 17 the foundation detail does not provide a depth. Please advise.
    An addendum will be issued. The foundation depth shall be 4', detail 2 on sheet 17 has been updated to reflect the foundation depth. (04/07/2026)

  • On the sign schedule on sheet 6 it calls for wood posts at the flashing beacon locations but according to the flashing beacon detail on sheet 17 they are to be mounted on aluminum posts and the cost of the posts and foundations are included in the flashing beacon pay item. Please advise which is correct and update the pay items accordingly.
    An addendum will be issued. The post is to be aluminum. WOOD SIGN SUPPORT quantity changed to 0 on sheet 3. WOOD SIGN SUPPORT has been removed from the schedule on sheet 6. Traffic signal post updated to 4.5" O.D. in detail 2 of sheet 17 and clarified in the Special Provision for POST MOUNTED FLASH BEACON INSTALLATION. (04/07/2026)

  • According to the sign schedule at stations 1+03 and 16+81 there are 2 sets of signs on each side of the road. Unless the signs are mounted on the back side of the post which would be unusual for two way traffic and not indicated on the flashing beacon drawings on sheet 17 this does not appear to be correct. Please advise.
    An addendum will be issued. The S1-1 and W16-7P shall be placed on both sides of the RRFB per the MUTCD Section 4L.02 06 and as shown on detail 2 of sheet 17. Detail 2 on sheet 17 has been updated to better portray the signs being placed on both sides of the RRFB and clarification has been added in the Special Provision for POST MOUNTED FLASH BEACON INSTALLATION. Sigh panel has been added to the Special Provision for POST MOUNTED FLASH BEACON INSTALLATION to make them included in the pay item. The quantity of SIGN PANNEL TYPE 1 has been updated on sheet 3 and the sighs have been removed from the sigh schedule on sheet 6. (04/07/2026)
