Will using a straightedge suffice for smoothness on the asphalt surface?

Per section 401-6.2 Acceptance Criteria, section {5} of the IDOT Standard Specifications for Construction of Airports, Profilograph roughness is not applicable to aprons. Smoothness shall be accepted based on section 401-5.3 g. Smoothness for Contractor Quality Control utilizing a straightedge. (04/17/2023)
Since there appears to be a taxiway & apron in the work area, what oil do you want for the asphalt oil grade to be on the surface, SBS 70-28(Taxiway/Runway) or SBS 76-28(Apron)?

The asphalt oil grade to be used on the surface shall be for an Apron (SBS PG 76-28) as shown in the table of section 401-2.3 of the IDOT Standard Specifications for Construction of Airports. (04/17/2023)
