  • In the proposal on page 7 under Temporary Traffic Signal Installation it has 4 pedestrian signals. On plan sheets 7, 8 and 9 only show 2 pedestrian signals and on plan sheets 22A and 22B they do not show any pedestrian signals. Which is correct? Also, the temporary traffic signals on Park Avenue, plan sheets 7,8 and 9 show one setup. Plan sheets 22A and 22B show completely different setup. Which is correct?
    Temporary traffic signal set up on Sh 22A & 22B is more accurate than Sh 7, 8, 9 & 10. Temporary signals must be a combination of existing signal equipment at Bench St and temporary span wire signals at Park Ave. Cannot utilize the portable signals depicted on sh 10. A ph 9 pedestrian must be provided to cross Park Ave. The 2 pedestrian heads and pushbuttons are not clearly shown on sh 22A or 22B. To clarify, span wire signals are needed over each of the legs at Park Ave (sheet 22A). Temporary traffic signals at Park Ave include 8, 3-section vehicle signals with backplates, 2 pedestrian signal heads, 2 pushbuttons, 4 video detection cameras, 4 combination luminaires, & some type of cabinet to power the Park Ave detection & combination lighting. Existing Bench St controller shall be modified & tied in to control the vehicle and ped signals at Park Ave. There are 2 minor corrections on sh 22B, O.L. B compatibility is with phases 6, 3, 5, 9; & the N leg of Park Ave is vehicle ph 9. (06/04/2025)
