According to the Lighting General Notes, item 3, all existing wiring on structures or under pavement is to be replaced. There is no bid item setup for this wiring replacement. It seems that the pay quantity 2088 CY Non-Special Waste Disposal and the 7 pages in proposal listing area that need to be monitored is excessive since for just changing out light fixtures and not installing new lighting circuits

The contractor should bid according to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Highway Standards, and the plans and specifications available online. (06/06/2025)
1. According to the Pay Items there are pay items for 4 new 110' Light Towers but the plans don't show any locations for these towers, no soild boring logs for the tower footings and no bid item for 24 tower LED luminaires. 2. There are pay items for Removal for 4 Light Towers and Footings but again the plans do not show their locations.
