  • Intersection detail sheets 26-32 show D mix in the shoulder area at side roads instead of the C mix indicated in the typical sections. Incidental HMA surfacing is also noted on sheets 26-28. What mix is to be used in the entrance areas when paving the 8 ft shoulder area at entrances? Is the entrance paving an "Incidental HMA" paving item? If so, there is no pay item for this work.
    An addendum will be issued to address this question. Please continue to monitor the website for an update. (05/27/2026)

  • The special provisions state that new signs may be required for this work. However these signs appear to be the Madison County Transit Bus Stop signs. MCT has custom signs for these. Will MCT be supplying these?
    The intent was to approve the existing MCT sign panels for reuse and mount them on new posts. The sign panels are in good condition and able to be reused for this project, so care should be taken to not damage them. MCT will provide new sign panels at no cost to the project if so needed.
