The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is occasionally involved in special projects that fall outside the scope of traditional IDOT highway construction letting. These are typically innovative project delivery procurements. These types of advertisements and procurements include but are not limited to, Request for Information (RFI), Request for Qualification (RFQ),  and Request for Proposal (RFP).
